One of the best hoses I've used, fittings are a bit soft.
After using this hose with my framing gun for a few weeks the Campbell Hausfeld quick release valve I had bought broke and I had threaded it in with Teflon tape for a tight seal.
While trying to get the valve off, the hex nut on the hose stripped and I couldn't get a good grip on it again. I chalked it up to crappy brass and decided I'd go with another brand, Porter Cable.
Just got the Porter Cable delivered and as soon as I opened it the difference in quality was pretty clear. The Goodyear hose is thicker (more rubber around the chamber), more flexible, has nice anti bend sheaths at the ends and just feels like a quality product. In comparison I almost mistook the Porter Cable as the wrong size because it is so skinny, which tells me that the rubber is thin. The hose feels stiff, almost like a PVC, though it's clearly labeled as rubber and it stank to high heaven when I opened it.
The Porter Cable was $4 less than the Goodyear and looks to have the same fittings but...

AWESOME AIR HOSE
Quality construction, lifetime warranty (save your receipt), air hose. I had no problem attaching fittings to the Brass air hose ends. This product is not made by Goodyear, a second party licenses the brand name and makes this air hose.
its good
This is way better than your average hardware store retail hose.

Mine does not see heavy usage, I expect it to last a long time.

If mobility is a big consideration, this hose might be kind of heavy.

Great Air Hose
This 25' air hose is just perfect for my garage/shop. Easy to roll and unroll, and appears rugged enough to last a long time. Being made in USA is a plus.

Great Air Hose
Feel and looks like it is ready to take some use for years to come. After using it for awhile my only complaint is I didnt get the 50" hose. Looks like another purchase.
Perfect for colder weather
This rubber air hose is perfect for my compressor and doesn't kink in colder weather, so I can leave it in my garage in our Wisconsin winters and it is ready to go when I want to air my tires. The length is just right for most jobs, but if I ever need a longer hose, I wouldn't hesitate to get the Goodyear in a 50' length.

Lighter and Quieter
THE PHOTO ON AMAZON IS NOT THE C2004-WK COMPRESSOR. That's a photo of a C2002-WK compressor with the 13-piece accessory pack. This unit comes with ONLY a hose, as noted in the product description, and does not include the accessory tools shown in the picture. Just know what you're getting.

We use finish nailers, brad nailers and staplers and the technical specs for this compressor are a good fit. We've owned a 6-gallon Porter-Cable C2002-WK for a couple of years, use it daily, and are happy with it, but convinced ourselves that a second compressor would let us work at opposite ends of the house without trailing hoses all over Creation. Now we can have two guns attached to each compressor and it should speed everything up.

Goodyear Yellow Hose 250 PSI - 3/8 x 50 Feet

This hose is made of high-quality industrial grade reinforced rubber, instead of vinyl. It remains soft and flexible and is easy to get it to lay flat on the floor so you don't trip on it. See Customer Images for an example of its flexibility; it's also like that in the winter time. It's also easy to feed it onto a hose reel, or to coil it up by hand.

Vinyl hoses, or even rubber hoses coated with vinyl are stiffer than this one and are more difficult to lay flat; polyurethane hoses are stiffer still.

I tried a "Task Force" brand air hose from Lowes (made in China) that was "reinforced rubber", but it split open in under a year. The entire surface was full of cracks - the point is, all rubber hoses are not created equal.

Item not as pictured, (update)
The 25' hose states that the item has "Bend Restrictors Prevent Kinks near end Fittings." The hose that I received did not, in fact the hose looked to be in used condition and did not have any sort of packaging. The hose may be a previous return, be aware that the pictures may not match the hose you receive.

**update**
The above review was not due to the manufacturer, but to best deal tools sending me the wrong hose.(46501) I returned the item, purchased the 300psi model (46544) and reordered the 250 psi model 46504 (fulfilled by amazon.)

The 46501 model is very similar to the 46504, but does not include the bend restrictor. The 300psi model is thicker than the 250psi model, but is also a little stiffer. I like the 46504 model because it is easier to use on a daily basis. I'll be keeping both because of their quality and the increased flexibility of having 50ft total.

MIT seemed interested by replying to this review, but did not seem interested in...
