This hose is remarkable it is very strong, but light weight. It is fifty foot long, plenty of hose, for your workshop, or Garage. I was always afraid to buy this new polyurethane type air hose for fear it would be really stiff and not lay flat on the floor. I had used the old coil pvc air hose which was always pulling on the air nailer and was so stiff when cold you could hardly do anything with it. This Air Pro hose is first class quality, very flexable, lays as flat on the floor as any rubber hose and is much less weight when using a air nailer overhead. I could go all day without the fatigue from holding the weight of the old rubber hose plus the nailer. This hose doesn't tangle any worse than another type of air hose and coils up nice for storage. I am also really suprised that it lays so flat on the floor considering how light weight it is. And another plus is it doesn't leave hose marks on the wall or when it goes around a corner when doing crown moulding overhead.

Guess you are never too old to learn a new trick and this hose is a new trick for me and I love it. Who would have ever thought they...

Dewalt 100' air hose
Light weight, easy to coil and un-coil, hose is very flexible. I am surprised that it has the air supply to drive my many tools that require large amounts of air, being a 100 foot long and only 1/4" in diameter.

Big improvement over rubber hoses
I've been using one of these hoses on a job for the last six months. It's spoiled me so bad I have to buy one of my own now. It is lightweight and slick so it stays out of trouble without snagging on things. The next best thing to having a cordless tool.

Durable yet flexible
I have dozens of the 1/4" hoses but needed a hose to feed multiple guns. We use this item to feed 3 guns several stories up ussing a 3 way splitter.

The increased diameter allows mutiple gun operation without the hastles of kinking or tangling. It is as easy to wrap up as the 1/4" style.
Not worth the hype
I've used this hose heavily for 1.5 yrs. Is it a nice hose? Yes. Is it a great hose? No. Not at the 2x (or more) the price tag vs. rubber IMO.

Likes: Doesn't stretch (permanently), lighter weight, doesn't kink easy, less friction while dragging around objects.

Dislikes: more 'memory' and 'springy' than rubber (easier for it to trip you, get caught on things, or twist on itself - a MAJOR safety hazard IMO), price

Amflo Polyurethane Air Hose
This air hose is very light and easy to drag around. It will twist abit, but just unplug your air tool and untwist it. I haven't used my rubber hoses since buying these. I have a 25', 60', and 100' poly hose and they all work great. Cold weather doesn't affect them either.

No other hose compares....
This hose is a MUST for anyone who uses air tools on a regular basis. It is super-light and flexible, making it much easier to carry around attached to your nailer. Try using a standard rubber hose hooked to your nailer while nailing above your head all day. It is so easy to drag around and use while on a ladder or pick. Cold weather doesn't affect these hoses, they stay flexible. If you get a hole in the hose, just cut off the bad section and use a repair coupler or re-use the removeable end fitting, it is very easy to do and it's leakproof. If you're still using the old-fashioned rubber air hoses, try a Flex-Eel, you'll love it!

Surprised
I needed a longer hose than my current 50 foot Goodyear hose. I thought I would be getting a simular type (rubber) hose, because like most people I was sure the slim plastic hoses were cheap and fragile. Maybe most are, I'm not sure, but this is a very nice, well built hose. I only bought it because of all the great reviews and Amazon offered it at a good price. The rubber hose is now hanging on the wall gathering dust. This hose does not kink up and I can't tell you how many times I've stepped on it (380 lbs per step). Great hose!
Lightweight and flexable!
I needed a long, lightweight, and flexable airhose for running nailers and for odds and ends like filling tires. This fits the bill nicely! It's 100' and even with the couplers (not included) comes in under 3 lbs or so I would guess. It's flexible and yet resists twisting. It wants to retain it's "strait line" so as long as you take your time to roll it up properly it will store nicely and reasonably flat. It will also resist the tendacy to tangle. However should you get it tangled it does become a pain since the PVC likes to "stick" to itself. Not in the litteraly sense but it does a kind of "tackey" feel to it so getting it unbound can be a challenge. Also due to the regiity of the sidewall and the thin iniside diameter, this hose seems VERY kink resistant!!! Impressive because as I said this is still quite flexible.

On to the technicals... It's 100' long with a 1/4" inside diameter. At either end you have a 1/4" male NPT connection. With a little plumbers...

You can't see inside rubber hoses, but this one's translucent enough to let you see if you've got contaminants in the line. Should have bought one sooner
This hose is extrememly lightweight and flexible. I finally bought one a few weeks ago thinking it would be nice to use when doing the trim work in the house. I have found that it is indescribeably better than the 3/8" rubber hose I had been using, and I really wish I had it at the beginning of the project. It does not kink as easily, is much more flexible, and thus much easier to drag along behind you without hanging up on things. When working in confined areas such as a closet or hallway, it is less likely to scuff the walls and damage freshly textured and painted sheetrock. It is very easy to coil up and put away when finished, as well. This hose is like having an extension cord attached to your air nailer, only I think it is even lighter weight than an extension cord. If you use air tools more than an hour in the next year, you will be happy you bought this hose.

I do lots of roofing and general framing. This hose is the best I ever had, especially in cold conditions.
Light Weight, but hard working
Excellent hose, very light weight, and kink free. Also VERY durable, we ran this hose across razor-sharp wire mesh all weekend and not a single leak. Other than the price, the only complaint I have is the ease with which it tangles when coiling, but if you have a reel, this is the hose to get.

If you use pneumatic tools,and you are tired of lugging around a big heavy organic rubber hose,or your hose's are all dry-rotted near the fittings upgrade to these lightweight durable polyurethane hose's.they dont kink or spool all up like the some do either!they are easy to handle and roll up in the cold season too!I put the good snap-on steel quick disconect fittings on them as well!The great thing about these hose's is that they'll roll up very small and store away,and you dont have to worry about them dry-rotting or cracking.and they resist scuffing while being dragged around on rough floors,or hot roofs!GREAT PRODUCT!

So Far So Good!
I am in the process of replacing all my old rubber and Pvc hoses with Poly hoses and I recently received this one.

If you have ever been in the situation where the weight of your air hose either drags your nail gun off the roof or just becomes a hassle to drag up and down a ladder or scaffolding, then you need these hoses. They are so light that you barely notice that it's there. I live in the south so the cold weather performance isn't an issue for me, but I can tell you that they are very flexible. The only complaint that I have is that when you roll it up it tends to want to twist. It may get better as it gets broken in.

No trip hazards with this hose
I'd been using Hitachi 1/4" polyurethane hose. It was light and seems to be durable but it had one serious problem. It wouldn't lay flat. The Hitachi hose coiled up creating a trip hazard and constantly getting tangled up around your feet. While working in a new home I saw someone using the Bostitch ProzHoze. Just as light as the Hitachi hose I was using but it would lay flat on the floor. I can't speak for it's durability as I have not owned the ProzHoze for very long. I now only use the Hitachi hose for long runs and hook it to the compressor so it won't be around me or my feet.
Light weight air hose
This is an excellent hose. Very light weight it is almost as if nothing is attached to the nail gun. I just replaced some 20 year old hoses that had begun to leak air. I would have replaced them sooner if I had known this was available. I do finish carpentry and this clean enough that it will not mar completed work or other rooms that it is running through.
